Books of Stories

V posledních letech zazněla v hodinách Bee's Knees celá řada příběhů, z nichž ty nejlepší naleznete v Books of Stories. Nemusí se vždy jednat o strhující akční příběhy plné vášně a dobrodružství, z každého příběhu se ale naučíte víc než z regálu učebnic. (Here's pretty much the same intro, only in English and really not the same at all. Well, maybe a little. But not too much. Anyway.)
Also, vocabulary used to be a thing. Educators such as myself would make lists of English words and phrases that their students were unlikely to be familiar with and attach Czech translations to them. Students had a love/hate relationship with these lists. They professed to hate them, but really they found them much easier to deal with and study from than... well, anything else.
Then came online translation services, and poof went the vocab. It's a bit of a relief, to be honest. It allows me to focus on stuff that no website or service is able to provide. But since I have put a lot of effort into creating vocab sections for Books of Stories Vol. 1-6 (and I like to think that I often came up with much better translations than online dictionaries), I'll post them here for everyone to ignore.
